The Ramble Retreat: 6th May - 9th May 2027 (Mid-Wales)

Where you Ramble and Ramble and Ramble… then get your core content produced (with professional help)

BOOK YOUR PLACE

This doesn’t look like somewhere to go to sort your marketing out, but it is.

Because contrary to popular belief, you can’t force creativity or creation. But you can make space for it.

Reserve your place at the first Ramble Retreat...

A place to escape the noise, connect with others, and most importantly with yourself.

This is a retreat like no other.

  • You'll Ramble (write following prompts).
  • Then you'll Ramble (walk in the great outdoors).
  • Then you'll Ramble (talk through your thoughts and ideas with likeminded peers).
  • And then we'll eat and sleep.

… Before getting up ready to produce your core content with ideas spilling out our seams thanks to all the space to percolate and explore.

With two professional marketers at your side guiding you, you’ll blow your own mind with what you produce.

We may turn to shortcuts to get stuff done.

To AI to fast track us through our never ending to do lists. To outsourcing to save us from trying to do it all. And we may find even with ever evolving modern time saving hacks, we still get gobbled up by modern life.

But we mustn’t let it gobble up our creativity or wolf down our self expression.

We’re getting ever busier and there are a few devastating consequences of that…

  1. We have less and less time to spend in our own heads, figuring out what we think, feel, and might want to say if anybody had time to listen.
  2. We have less and less time to play and be creative just for the sheer joy of it.
  3. We are becoming less and less connected to ourselves - let alone others in our communities.

Enter… The Ramble Retreat

A 3-night escape set among 15 acres of private space where you can hear yourself think, percolate… and then produce.

Plus connect with a small group of likeminded people to bounce ideas off and ramble freely alongside.

And of course, your dog(s) are welcome too. For sporadic sprawling walks where you let your thoughts intermingle and see what they gel into.

There’s no rushing, no outside noise, and plenty of space to ramble freely.

Location:

Located in Llandinam mid-wales, the rural venue is just 15 minutes away from Newtown train station (in a hideaway off the A470).

You will need a car to get to the retreat so if you're planning on getting the train, let us know... and we'll arrange for someone to pick you up!

The best paths are glorious meanders, with interesting loops and scenic routes. Some disappear and reappear just when you think you’re lost.

But if you follow the threads that tug gently at your sleeve - the glimmers, the questions, the curious what-ifs - they’ll always lead you somewhere worth visiting.

This is a space for those kinds of journeys.

For writing without a destination.

For noticing curious patterns as they emerge.

For connecting with yourself, one ramble at a time.

But what will we do? (aka your itinerary)

You'll arrive on Thursday 6th May, and have the opportunity to hang out and mingle with your fellow ramblers. Interaction is not expected though, if you'd rather retreat to your abode, there'll be no objections.

Then we'll eat and sleep.

On Friday

We have the whole day to ramble freely. We'll begin with some prompted rambling, where you'll be encouraged to uncensor yourself and write freely.

You won't be asked to share anything unless you want to, because what spills out of you and onto the page is for you. Not anybody else.

Then we'll ramble in nature. Either together, with dogs, or alone. Again, you'll not be railroaded into anything or judged for your choices. The goal is to give yourself space to see what rises after rambling on the page.

Then those who want to will come together to talk. You'll be in a small group of likeminded people so you can share ideas, explore thoughts, and follow tangents to see what emerges.

There will also be time available for a mini-photoshoot with awesome professional photographer Rowan from Pooch and Pineapple. These shoots are available to book as an add-on at checkout.

Then we'll eat and sleep.

On Saturday

We migrate into content creation mode. You'll be guided by me on what content will serve you and your business best - and supported as you create it.

If you want to create video content, you'll be in the perfect surroundings to do so. And will have plenty of hands on deck to help you do it brilliantly.

If you want to work on your website, social media, emails or your messaging - I'll be on hand to help you edit, refine and publish in real time.

Then we'll eat and sleep.

On Sunday

We'll wake up and have breakfast together (or alone if you prefer). Before packing up and heading home full of satisfaction. And bursting with content to fuel your business when you're back to your busy life.

When you get home... you'll probably eat and sleep.
